First push
This is the first version of the documentation site. If you can read this, it means that the ci/cd street is functioning properly.
From here, documentation will slowly be added to the site. It will be a slow process, adding packages and automatically converting the manpages of packages to html, bundling them from different distributions.
Once the structure has been set up, I intend to make it all searchable, and put this site on a CDN, so as to improve the speed. Legibility would also be a big plus, or changing the accessibility options client-side.
Enough ideas, but I will be rsyncing this site to the main server, making it cacheable for 30-90 days, depending on my mood. Documentation moves very slowly anyway, the only downside is that you might get an inconsistent website. But since content is generally added, but not moved, this should not be much of a problem. At some point I will push everything to a CDN, but we’re a long way from there.
In the meantime, browse around. This is hardly the only website showing you manpages, but most suck in terms of usability and I hope to change that, even if it’s only for my own use.
